RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — With Presidents’ Day falling on Monday, Feb. 19, many are wondering if the holiday will affect school hours in the greater Richmond area.
The following schools will close on Monday:
- Chesterfield County Public Schools
- Colonial Heights Public Schools
- Hanover County Public Schools
- Henrico County Public Schools
- Hopewell City Public Schools
- Goochland County Public Schools
- Powhatan County Public Schools
Richmond Public Schools will have a two-hour early release and a teacher planning day.
Students at Petersburg City Public Schools will have a normal school day.
