Two men injured after shooting in Richmond apartment complex


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A Richmond man is facing life-threatening injuries after a shooting on Tuesday night.

Richmond police responded to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Clarkson Road in Richmond at 8:34 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found one adult male with a gunshot wound.

The man’s injuries are life-threatening and he was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At 10:47 p.m. on Tuesday, police returned to the scene and located a second victim, another adult male. This victim also sustained a gunshot wound, but his injuries were non-life threatening.

Police said there are no suspects at this time.
