PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC)- The Petersburg Bureau of Police is investigating a shooting on River Street that hurt a person.
According to a post on X, formerly Twitter, the shooting happened in the 100 block of River Street just off Adams Street. The time of the shooting was not released, but the post was made at 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the victim, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No information was released about a suspect or a motive.
