Omaha man charged in theft of at least 11 vehicles worth more than $106,000

A 37-year-old Omaha man is charged with six counts of theft by receiving in relation to stolen property recovered in Benson.Quim Heredia-Sanchez is accused of stealing at least 11 vehicles, worth an estimated $106,026, according to law enforcement.According to court documents, the vehicles were recovered on July 24 from a property in Benson, located near 61st and Binney streets. Among the vehicles recovered were a Sea-Doo boat and boat trailer, a 1997 Chevrolet C15 pickup, a 2003 Kawasaki CYL VST motorcycle, a 2017 Kawasaki BR125J motorcycle, a 2008 Honda CBR600 motorcycle, a 2006 GMC Yukon Denali, a 2015 Dodge Challenger, a 2007 KTM motorcycle frame, a Pentora 125 four-wheeler and a Texas Pride roll-off dump trailer, according to court documents.Heredia-Sanchez, who is held on a $250,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 13.
