UPDATE: All lanes have reopened and the scene is clear.
NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two lanes of Interstate 64 East are closed in New Kent County due to a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash took place at mile marker 207.5, about halfway between the Henpeck Road and Old Roxbury Road overpasses. The eastbound left and right lane are both currently closed.
Traffic is backed up past the New Kent Highway interchange. Drivers in the area are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays.
