Michigan police have locked down the Orion General Motors assembly plant pending a murder investigation Thursday.

Police were turning away workers arriving to the plant in the early morning. Police earlier confirmed to Fox News Digital that there had been an “altercation” between two individuals, and they now say a murder took place at the facility.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says they have taken one person into custody, but did not identify the individual.

Both the victim and the alleged attacker were employees at the plant.
