Crash on I-95 South causes 4-mile backup in Hanover County


HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) —

UPDATE: 12:13 a.m.- According to VDOT, the backup is clear and all lanes are open.

A vehicle crash on Interstate 95 southbound is causing significant delays for drivers in Hanover County.

The crash was first reported by VDOT at 10:10 and is located near the Lewistown Road exit in Hanover County.

The two left southbound lanes have been closed due to the crash. According to VDOT, the backup is currently four miles long.
