Crash on I-95 N in Hanover causing 4 miles of backups, crews at the scene

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A crash on an exit ramp of Interstate 95 North is causing significant delays, with drivers experiencing 4 miles of backups at the time of reporting.

The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Crews are currently at the scene, located at the England Street exit of I-95 N.

As of 2:01 p.m., the exit is closed. Traffic is backed up for 4 miles. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes.
