CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A home along Chesswood Circle in Chesterfield County caught fire Friday afternoon, prompting an investigation by firefighters.
At 1:19 p.m. on Friday, March 8, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call reporting fire inside a home in the 9300 block of Chesswood Circle.
A spokesperson for the department said the first crews that arrived on scene found smoke coming from the home and fire in a front room.
Officials said crews marked the fire under control in just over 20 minutes. There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
