THIS HAPPENED AROUND 445 ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN THE AREA OF THIS BROWN CARNATION STREETS. POLICE SAY KEON KICKED IN THE BACK DOOR OF A HOME AND WAS CONFRONTED BY THE HOMEOWNER. THERE. POLICE SAY THE HOMEOWNER WHO LAWFULLY HAD A GUN TOLD WASHINGTON TO STOP AND LEAVE. AND WHEN WASHINGTON TRIED GET INTO THE HOME, THE HOMEOWNER SHOT HIM. A Harrisburg homeowner shot a man who was trying to break in, police say.The suspect, Keon Washington, allegedly kicked in the back door of a home in the area of Disbrow and Carnation streets around 4:45 p.m. Friday.Police said the homeowner, who lawfully had a gun, confronted Washington and told him to leave.He refused and the homeowner shot him, police said.Washington was found in the area of North 17th and Carnation streets with a large butcher knife, according to police.Police said he was taken into custody and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Washington is charged with trespassing, attempted burglary, terroristic threats and reckless endangering of another person.
