Ashwin Ramaswami, on Wednesday (Mar 20) announced that he is officially launching his campaign as the Democratic nominee in the US state of Georgia for a seat in the Senate ahead of the upcoming election.
He is the first Generation Z Indian-American who would pursue a state or federal legislative position in the United States. “Today, I officially launched my General Election campaign as the Democratic nominee for GA State Senate District 48,” said Ramaswami, in a post on X.
