Morning news brief: Indian Navy rescues 23 Pak nationals; Baltimore bridge collapse, and more


The Indian Navy on Friday (Mar 29) freed a hijacked Iranian vessel and rescued 23 Pakistani nationals in the Arabian Sea.The operation began in the early hours on Friday as Indian Navy warship INS Sumedha caught the hijacked vessel ‘FV A1-Kambar’. The operation was soon joined by another Indian warship, INS Sumedha. It has been revealed that the cargo ship involved in the tragic Baltimore Bridge collapse was full of hazardous materials. During the collision, some of these corrosive-filled containers were breached and led to leaks into the Patapsco River. Meanwhile, a report by a UK-based group has claimed that Russia knew the looming ISIS threat before the Moscow terror attack.
