A 23-year-old man has been indicted in connection with a 2018 shooting death inside a Wilmington residence along North Market Street.
On Feb. 25, 2018, officers were dispatched to a home in the 2300 block of N. Market St. in reference to a person who had been shot.
Inside a house there, police found 38-year-old Richard Young, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

When was Nasir Anderson arrested?
Young’s killing remained unsolved for nearly five years until the city’s cold case unit linked Nasir Anderson to the killing, Wilmington Police said.
Anderson was indicted on Monday, Feb. 13 and officers arrested him on Tuesday, Feb. 14 following a pedestrian stop, according to a police statement.
Anderson, whose charges include first-degree murder and, home invasion and several weapons offenses, was committed to Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington after failing to post more than $1.3 million cash bail.
