Jennifer Coolidge is reportedly in negotiations to join the “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” cast as a witch, a role that would manifest a ”The White Lotus” reunion.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe show began filming this month in Atlanta and will wrap in April. The nine-episode season is set to air on Disney+ later this year and will follow the events of Disney+’s first MCU series, “WandaVision.”
The possibility that Coolidge may join the cast was first reported by the pop culture site Giant Freakin Robot.
Kathryn Hahn, introduced in “WandaVision” as Wanda Maximoff and Vision’s friendly neighbor Agatha Harkness, will star in the titular role of Agatha in the new series. Additional “WandaVision” actors are set to reprise their roles, with new faces like Debra Jo Rupp, from “That ‘70s Show” and ”That ‘90s Show,” and Joe Locke, from Netflix’s “Heartstopper,” in the mix.

Fans went wild for Coolidge’s character in “The White Lotus” upon its premiere in 2021, but Tanya McQuoid is just one of the many roles the actress has brought to life throughout her career.
Jennifer Coolidge has quite the résumé
Coolidge has over 125 credits under her belt, spanning titles like “A Cinderella Story,” “American Pie,” the “Legally Blonde” series, “2 Broke Girls” and more.
Coming up, she’ll star in the third installment of “Legally Blonde” as Paulette Parcelle and co-star alongside David Harbour of “Stranger Things” and “Black Widow,” and Anthony Mackie of the “Captain America” films.
If “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” officially picks up Coolidge to join the cast as a witch, she’ll star alongside “The White Lotus” co-star Aubrey Plaza once again. The HBO hit led to Coolidge’s recent Golden Globe win for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, a category in which Plaza also was nominated.
Plaza’s involvement in the MCU spinoff show was previously announced, but details of her role have yet to be confirmed.
Aubrey Plaza stars on ‘Saturday Night Live’
The actress made her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut on Jan. 21 after a jam-packed few months filled with the debut of her second children’s book, “The Return of the Christmas Witch,” co-written with longtime creative partner and fellow Delawarean Dan Murphy, her own Golden Globe nomination and a gig presenting at the Critics Choice Awards. She also starred in and produced “Emily the Criminal,” a performance that has garnered rave reviews and a Spirit Independent Film nomination.
