CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County leaders have announced new details about multiple events, including Restaurant Week, as well as a new festival and 5k race taking place in April.
The announcement was made at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26.
County leaders shared the list of 39 restaurants that will participate in Chesterfield Restaurant Week, which will span from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, April 7.
Residents and traveling foodies can visit the Chesterfield Chamber’s website for a full list of participating restaurants.
Restaurants will offer a menu of special dishes during the 10-day event and will support the Chesterfield Food Bank and Outreach Center, according to a spokesperson for the county.
Speakers also provided new details about the Chesterfield Outdoor Fest, a festival and 5k race slated for Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Festivities throughout the event will include a sustainability showcase, an Earth Day 5k race, a kid’s 1-mile race, a Kid Zone, which includes a “touch-a-truck,” an outdoor market, a farmer’s market and other outdoor activities.
