Video shows person interrupting Virginia March for Life in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A video being shared on social media shows a person holding a transgender pride flag interrupting the Virginia March for Life on Wednesday.

The video shows the person running into a group of people marching while hitting signs held by the marchers. The identity of the person shown in the video is unknown, the video was reportedly filmed and uploaded by a member of Students for Life of America.

Thousands marched in downtown Richmond, including Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, on Wednesday, Feb. 21 to advocate for legislation restricting access to abortion in Virginia. The first March for Life took place in Washington, D.C. in 1974 and the Virginia March for Life has been taking place in Richmond annually for the last six years.
