ASHLAND, Va. (WRIC) — A vehicle fire that caused delays and a long backup on Interstate-95 in Ashland has been cleared, and all lanes are now open, according to the Virginia Department of Transporation.
The vehicle fire near the Ashland exit — at mile marker 92.2 — closed the north center lane, right lane and right shoulder. It also closed the Ashland exit on I-95 North.
