HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — Two adults are dead after a house fire in Henrico early this morning.
According to Henrico fire, crews responded to the 1800 block of Elk Ridge off Mechanicsville Turnpike around 2:27 this morning for a single-story house fire.
One adult was pronounced dead at scene, another adult was later pronounced dead at VCU medical center.
Both were pulled out of the residence.
The fire marshal was assisted by Henrico police, citizens can expect their presence throughout the day.
