PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A tractor trailer crash on Interstate 295 in Prince George County closed all northbound lanes and some southbound ones, causing delays, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
On Saturday, Feb. 3, at around 9:12 a.m., a crash involving a tractor trailer closed all north travel lanes on I-295, just north of the exit from Interstate 95 North onto I-295.
As of 10:29 a.m., the south left shoulder and left lane are the only lanes that remain closed.
A spokesperson for VDOT advised that drivers should expect “an extended closure.” Drivers were asked to avoid the area as crews responded to the scene.
