CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three people suffering from non-life threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 on Thursday.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash took place at mile marker 61, just south of West Hundred Road.
As of 1 A.M., the interstate has re-opened.
A spokesperson with Virginia State Police said when they arrived on scene, they found a three-vehicle crash. Then, two additional vehicles struck debris from the crash, causing them to be disabled just north of the exit.
The crash caused all northbound lanes of I-95 to be closed for about an hour. The crash remains under investigation.
