Three hospitalized with gunshot, stab wounds after Prince Edward domestic dispute

PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Three people have been hospitalized after one was shot and two were stabbed during a domestic dispute in Prince Edward County.

Deputies with the Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Twin Ridges Road in the Green Bay area of the county just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, for report of a domestic incident.

The deputies, as well as first responders with Meherrin Volunteer Fire and Rescue, found three unidentified people with injuries at the scene. One man was shot in the torso, according to the office. The other two, a man and a woman, each had stab wounds.

All three have been hospitalized. According to the office, the two men have injuries considered life-threatening. The woman’s condition is unknown at the time of reporting.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. Charges are pending. The sheriff’s office has not yet provided any information on a suspect.
