A third person has died from injuries sustained in a fire in Little Creek that killed two others and injured two more earlier this month.
The blaze, which killed a 9-year-old girl, a 42-year-old woman and on Thursday, a 38-year-old woman, began shortly after noon on Feb. 6 in the 300 block of Main St., fire officials said.
Firefighters rescued multiple people from the home. The child and 42-year-old woman died at a hospital almost immediately, while the 38-year-old died at Crozer Medical Center in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Fire officials have not yet released the names of those killed. The other two people who were injured have since been released from the hospital.
According to Little Creek Fire Company Deputy Chief Steve Galvin, after receiving reports of the blaze, firefighters rushed over immediately.

“The chief was here and as he went to the house, he saw one of the victims jump off the porch roof,” Galvin said. “The person who jumped said there was another person trapped upstairs.”
Firefighters went through the second-floor window into the home, where they found one person and brought her out to an awaiting ambulance. First responders later found two other victims upstairs.
The state fire marshal’s office said it still hasn’t determined where the fire started or what caused it. It remains under investigation.
