Can’t be bothered to spend hours cooking Christmas dinner this year? You’re in luck.
These Delaware restaurants are serving up festive meals for dine-in or takeout during the holiday.
Applebee’s Grill & Bar, various locations
Most Applebee’s restaurants will be open on Christmas, but select locations will not be participating in holiday service. Call your local restaurant to confirm their hours.
Boston Market, various locations
All Boston Markets will be open on Christmas Eve, and select locations will be open on Christmas Day. Be sure to check the hours of operation for your local establishment before setting out.
Columbus Inn, Wilmington
Although the Columbus Inn is fully booked for their Christmas Eve dinner and closed on Christmas, their Christmas Eve takeout package is still available.
The $425 package feeds eight people and includes a winter salad; sliced turkey with mashed potatoes and traditional stuffing; roasted beef tenderloin; Caesar-style Brussels sprouts; and assorted desserts such as brownies, cookies and cakes.
Preorders are due no later than Dec. 20, and pickup will be available on Christmas Eve from noon to 2 p.m.

The Hilton Wilmington-Christiana, Stanton
The Hilton Wilmington-Christiana is offering a special menu for Christmas Eve, from 4 to 8 p.m., for $68 per person. Reservations are required.
The prix fixe menu at the Market Kitchen & Bar gastropub will include a starter, salad, entrée and dessert. Some of the selections are crispy truffle Parmesan Brussels sprouts, duck salad, citrus honey-glazed salmon, blackberry chipotle BBQ short ribs, raspberry-white chocolate cheesecake and chocolate Zanzibar.

Home Grown Café, Newark
Newark’s Home Grown Café is open until 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be offering its full lunch menu all day.
A few staples include tater tot bowls, birria tacos, falafel sandwiches and an array of burgers.

Hotel du Pont’s Le Cavalier, Wilmington
Le Cavalier, a modern French restaurant in the Hotel du Pont, has two holiday dining options this year.
“Maison x Le Cav” is the take-home offering. The cost is $155 for two people, and preorders will close on Dec. 22.
The take-home menu includes items like marinated leeks, whole-roasted eggplant, duck tagine and a Meyer lemon tarte.
The restaurant will have two in-house Christmas dinners, one on Christmas Eve from 4 to 9 p.m. and another on Christmas Day from 1 to 9 p.m. Both are $75 per person, and reservations are still available at the time this article is published.
Menu listings for the dinner events include gnocchi Parisienne with brown butter and honey crisp apple, lobster tails, poussin (chicken), Beef Wellington au Périgueux, Bûche de Nöel and baked Alaska.

IHOP, various locations
The beloved breakfast chain will be open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but hours may vary by location. Call your local IHOP restaurant for more information about holiday service.
Metro Diner, Newark
Metro Diner is offering Christmas catering with their Heat and Serve Holiday Feasts To-Go packages. The diner will be open on Christmas Eve for dine-in service until 2:30 p.m. but will be closed on Christmas Day.
The to-go package comes with maple glazed baked ham or roasted turkey with cranberry sauce, and a selection of sides including mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato mash, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole and Hawaiian dinner rolls.
The packages can be customized for one, four or eight servings and can be ordered on their website until Dec. 23. Pick-up times will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 23, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Their dine-in festive holiday dinner options include a “Stuff ‘N Waffle with Turkey,” a waffle topped with oven-roasted turkey breast, gravy and mashed potatoes. A similar offering, “Sausage & Gravy Chicken Tenders Stuff N’ Waffle,” includes buttermilk fried chicken tenders and sausage gravy atop a waffle made from cornbread stuffing, with sweet and spicy sauce on the side.
Holiday sides such as mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cornbread stuffing and bread pudding are available.
Rosenfeld’s Jewish Delicatessen, Rehoboth
At its Rehoboth location, Rosenfeld’s Jewish Delicatessen will be open on Christmas Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The full menu will be served for dine-in service, carryout, delivery and online ordering.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Brandywine Hundred
Sullivan’s Steakhouse in Brandywine Hundred will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. serving up some classic meals.
Menu items include fresh seafood like broiled salmon or crab-stuffed shrimp, hand-cut steaks cooked-to-order, cheesesteak eggrolls and key lime pie.
