The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in the 7th Ward on Thursday morning. According to the NOPD, the shooting happened in the 2900 block of Saint Anthony Street. At about 5:22 a.m., NOPD said the suspects pictured were seen arriving in the 2900 block of St. Anthony Street in the pictured black 2020 Honda Accord. At about 6 a.m., the victim exited his residence.Video released by police show three people exit the vehicle armed with firearms and shot at the victim, striking him multiple times. The suspects then got back into their car and drove away. A news release issued by Volunteers of America identified the victim as a client who lives at the organization’s residential reentry center. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
