Today, The Texas Tribune voluntarily recognized the Texas Tribune Guild. We acknowledge and respect the rights of Tribune employees to organize.
We now look forward to initiating collective bargaining negotiations with the guild to reach a mutually agreeable contract.
Meanwhile, Texans and the information needs of our state remain our shared focus. We believe that the public service journalism that we do at the Tribune makes Texas a better place, and we will continue working together to provide Texans with the free, trustworthy and reliable news they need and deserve.
