Shooting in Richmond leaves one dead, another injured

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) –Richmond Police are investigating a reported shooting on Saturday night that left one person dead and another injured.

Officers were called to the 900 block of St. Paul Street in Richmond on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 9:37 p.m. for a reported shooting.

According to police, when officers arrived on the scene they found two victims with injuries, one adult male and one adult female. Each had what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Both victims were taken to an area hospital. The male victim was later reported dead, but no cause of death has been officially determined at this time.

The female victim inflicted non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police have no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
