A fatal crash near Roth Bridge is causing major traffic delays Thursday morning.
The crash occurred on Route 1 north of the Roth Bridge in St. Georges, said the Delaware Department of Transportation in a Tweet around 6 a.m., adding that it is “already causing major delays which will worsen as this is an extended closure.”
The St. Georges Bridge has been closed for construction since April 4.
Alternate routes at the time are the Route 896 Summit Bridge and the Route 9 Reedy Point Bridge, DelDOT said in its tweet.
