Richmond Police investigating hit-and-run on East Main Street


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a driver and car that was involved in a hit-and-run incident on Saturday.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of East Main Street in Richmond at approximately 5:53 p.m. on Saturday to respond to a report of a hit-and-run.

According to the police report, detectives determined that pedestrians were walking northbound on East Main Street when a white sedan struck them as the driver attempted to turn left from North 21st Street onto East Main Street.

Police said investigators are still seeking information on the car, which is a white four-door Ford Fusion that could have damage to the mirror on the driver’s side.
