NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A ski accident on Eagle Slope at the Wintergreen Ski Resort in Nelson County has resulted in at least one injury, according to sources at the resort.
Around midday on Saturday, Feb. 3, sources said a report was received of a potential collision on the trail at Eagle Slope involving at least one person.
Witnesses told 8News they saw a crowd of people around the person involved in the collision before, shortly after 12:40 p.m., the person was taken to a local hospital via helicopter.
