PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A shooting is currently under investigation in Petersburg.
The Petersburg Bureau of Police has announced it is conducting a shooting investigation in the area of South West Street and Young Avenue.
Officials said there was a heavy police presence as of 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2. The public was told to avoid the area.
