RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia Capitol Police are responding to a multi-vehicle crash right outside The National on East Broad Street.
Police said there are injuries from the incident near Eighth Street.
Broad Street is closed in both directions from Seventh Street to Ninth Street and is likely to remain closed for an extended period of time.
Police urge for people to plan for delays and avoid the area.
