HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is searching for a suspect in a December 2023 car theft.
According to police, the grey Ford sedan was stolen at 1:42 a.m. from a Henrico County 7-Eleven, located at 1 E. Laburnum Ave. by an unidentified suspect.



While fleeing in the vehicle, the suspect hit another parked car, the curb and a metal post, according to police. The owner of the Ford tried to stop the suspect and was injured. Those injuries were treated at the scene.
Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his 30s. He is believed to be between 5 foot 9 and 6 feet tall, weighing between 175 and 200 pounds. At the time of the theft, the suspect had a goatee and was wearing a hooded jacket with an arm patch, a black knit hat, jeans and light blue or black running shoes.
