CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A man is dead after he was hit by a car while walking on Midlothian Turnpike just before midnight Saturday, Feb. 3, according to police.
According to a release from the Chesterfield County Police Department, the victim was walking in the 11000 block of Midlothian Turnpike when he was hit by a Volkswagen sedan.
The victim died at the scene. The Volkswagen’s driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. The victim’s name will not be released until his family is notified.
