CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Chesterfield County Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred on the 2500 block of Marina Drive overnight.
On Saturday, March 16 at approximately 1 a.m., officers were made aware of a shooting that occurred in the Falling Creek Apartments complex.
According to Chesterfield police, an adult male victim had non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital at by friends.
Chesterfield police described the suspect as a Hispanic man, thin build, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie and mask.
The investigation determined the victim was sitting in a car and was approached by the suspect, who began shooting into the car, according to police.
This incident is still under investigation by Chesterfield Police.
