RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place over the weekend on Commerce Road.
Around 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, officers responded to a call that a person was shot in the 4600 block of Deep Water Terminal.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult male with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Investigators determined that the shooting took place in the 3600 block of Deep Water Terminal and the victim drove to the 4600 block of Commerce Road, then called the police.
