CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC) – A driver was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Hull Street Road, Chesterfield police said.
The driver of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Hull Street Rd. at a high rate of speed while “weaving in-and-out of traffic” when it hit a 2023 Toyota Camry moving west that was trying to make a left turn onto Craig Rath Boulevard, according to police.
The driver of the Camry died from her injuries at the hospital, while her passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Charges are pending against the driver of the Silverado, according to police.
Hull Street Road between Brad McNeer Parkway and Craig Rath Boulevard was closed during the police investigation, but the road has since been cleared, online cameras from the Virginia Department of Transportation show.
