CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A large police presence is currently addressing a situation in Chesterfield County.
8News crews on scene report that at least 15 Chesterfield County police vehicles have lined the street along the 10400 block of Marbleridge Court, and said that one ambulance has been seen leaving the scene.
A police helicopter is confirmed to be in the air in the area.
Police received a call for an assault with a deadly weapon at an address along the street around 10:30 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the incident are unconfirmed at this time.
