It’s an NFC East playoff showdown, and the stakes are sky high.
The New York Giants, coming off Sunday’s big wild-card victory over the Minnesota Vikings, head to Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC divisional round playoff game, beginning at 8:15 p.m.
The Eagles, who were off last week after earning the No. 1 seed in the conference, are favored by 7.5 points, with odds powered by Tipico Sportsbook.
So, who do you like: Daniel Jones and the G-Men, or Jalen Hurts and the Birds?
Which team is going to pull this one out and head to the NFC Championship game? Here are our staff predictions:
Martin Frank, Eagles writer, Delaware News Journal
We can assume that Jalen Hurts’ shoulder won’t be 100%, but we can also assume that it’ll be a lot better than it was two weeks ago against the Giants. That will be enough for the Eagles, who will have their hands full defensively with Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.
Prediction: Eagles 28, Giants 20

The Giants are a much better team now than the one that was blown out by the Eagles. This one will be close, but Philly is the top seed for a reason.

Better offense, better defense. Eli Manning won’t be the only one dealing with too many Birds at the Linc.
Prediction: Eagles 30, Giants 16
Bob Jordan, Sports Editor, Asbury Park Press
It was brilliant for the Giants to rest top players for the regular-season finale against the Eagles, but the bill comes due, with the Eagles pumped up by their season sweep of Big Blue.
Prediction: Eagles 21, Giants 17
