New Castle County Police are conducting a suspicious death investigation that was discovered Monday night in Claymont.
Police have provided few details about the incident, other than to say officers were called out a little before 8 p.m. Monday to the area of Governor Printz Extension and Forrest Avenue.
The scene was clear of police by early Tuesday afternoon, but orange spray paint used by investigators to indicate where evidence is found remained along several parking spots used by people who use Claymont’s rail station.
The orange spray paint could also be seen on nearby grass and in a small opening of overgrowth along a fence leading to I-495.
Cpl. Michael McNasby, a police spokesman, said further information will be released as it becomes available.
