NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Multiple lanes were closed on Interstate 64 in New Kent County due to a vehicle fire, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
On Saturday, March 9 at 8:52 p.m., the east right center lane, right lane and right shoulder were closed on I-64 at mile marker 204.4 due to a vehicle fire.
According to VDOT, drivers expected delays.
By 9:20 p.m., the scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
