RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 caused delays for drivers in Richmond.
The crash was first reported by VDOT shortly before 1:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24, and was located on I-95 North near the Leigh Street viaduct.
According to VDOT, the north center lane, right lane, and right shoulder were closed. The north Broad Street exit also narrowed.
At one point, there was a 2-mile-long backup.
Around 3:15 p.m., the scene was cleared and the lanes were reopened.
