UPDATE: As of 11 p.m. on Frida, June 16, around 14,000 Dominion Energy customers in the Richmond metro area do not have power. There are a less than 2,500 customers in Chesterfield, 6,700 in Petersburg and over 4,700 in Colonial Heights.
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Nearly 24,000 Dominion Energy customers in the Richmond area are without power Friday as severe storms hit the region.
According to Dominion Energy’s outage summary page, 23,971 customers in the region don’t have power as of 6:15 p.m.
There are more than 6,500 customers in Chesterfield, nearly 9,000 in Petersburg and nearly 7,000 in Colonial Heights with no power.
