The mayor and one council member are facing challenges while two candidates are running for an open council seat in the Dover election Tuesday, April 18.
Two other council members are running unopposed.
Here’s what to know:
Who’s running for office?
Mayor – incumbent Robin Christiansen and challenger Diana Welch.
Council, first district – incumbent Julia Pillsbury and challenger Paul Fleming.
Council, second district – challengers Donyale Hall and Brian Lewis. This is an open seat after Councilman Ralph Taylor resigned in February.
Council, third district – incumbent Tricia Arndt, unopposed.
Council, fourth district – incumbent Roy Sudler Jr., unopposed.

From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 18.
Am I qualified to vote?
To be eligible to vote, a person must be 18 or older on election day, must be a resident of the corporate limits of Dover and registered to vote with the Delaware Department of Elections.
