Maryland jumps out to lead over Delaware in women’s basketball

The Terrapins are on a 6-0 run and have opened up a 63-46 edge over Delaware. Maryland has three players in double figures and six players with at least six points, making it tough for the Blue Hens to defend. The leading scorer is Delaware’s Jasmine Dickey, who has 25 points. 

Dickey stays hot

In the past three trips down the court, Jasmine Dickey has scored, giving her 25 points. In the process, the Blue Hens have cut the Maryland lead to 57-46 with 6:30 left in the third quarter. 

Maryland starts fast

The Terrapins have scored the first six points of the third quarter, opening up a 55-39 lead over Delaware. The Blue Hens have called a timeout to regroup. Eight minutes left in the third quarter. 

Jasmine Dickey heating up

After struggling to score early in the game, Delaware star Jasmine Dickey has turned it on, hitting her last five shots. She missed her first shot of the second half, but she looks like she’s ready to lead the Blue Hens in the second half. Maryland leads 52-39 one minute into the second half.
