Man arrested, charged after reported robbery at Petersburg school

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A man has been arrested and charged with breaking and entering to commit larceny after an investigation into a reported robbery at a private academy in Petersburg.

On Tuesday, Feb. 27, officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police were called to Believe N U Academic Development Center, located at 3701 County Drive.

After an investigation, police identified 28-year-old James B. Winters, Jr. as a suspect.

Police said Winters was arrested and charged with breaking and entering to commit larceny, and was held on a secure bond at Riverside Regional Jail.
