RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Central Virginia is expected to get a “quick moving and weak winter storm” on the morning of Friday, Jan. 19 and several local school districts will be starting class late in anticipation.
As of 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, the following school districts have announced that they will be on a two-hour delay tomorrow:
- Caroline County Public Schools
- Cumberland County Public Schools
- King William County Public Schools
- King and Queen County Public Schools
- Middlesex County Public Schools
- Lancaster County Public Schools
- Northumberland County Public Schools
The Carmel School in Caroline County has also announced that it will be on a two-hour delays tomorrow.
