Lenexa police officers helped deliver a baby in a car late Thursday night.Authorities said that a couple was on the way to a hospital when they had to pull over on 95th Street east of Interstate 35 because the mother was going into labor.Police said three officers arrived at the scene and jumped into action. One officer delivered the baby in the passenger seat of the car.Authorities said mother, baby and dad are doing well.This isn’t the first delivery for Lenexa police. The police department said on Labor Day, one of its officers, who was off-duty, went to a hospital with his wife when she started going into labor. Before they could make it inside, the officer delivered his own son in the backseat of their car.
