RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers expected delays on Interstate 95 in Richmond due to a vehicle fire, according to Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
On Friday, Dec. 15 at around 6:34 p.m., the north right lane and right shoulder on I-95 near the Clopton area were closed due to a vehicle fire, causing drivers to expect delays.
By 7:20 p.m., the scene was cleared and lanes were reopened to traffic.
