It’s looking like the Jimmie Allen ice cream deal we wrote about in March might have melted. Allen, the country singer from Milton, was recently hit with a lawsuit alleging sexual abuse.
Allen had collaborated with The Frozen Farmer, a Bridgeville-based farm and creamery, to produce a new ice cream flavor inspired by his mother’s beloved peach cobbler.
Allegations against Allen:Country star and Milton native Jimmie Allen sued for sexual abuse and assault
According to TMZ, and a recent check by Delaware Online/The News Journal, the ice cream flavor is no longer listed on The Frozen Farmer’s website. No one is commenting, TMZ says.
Allen also was replaced as the keynote speaker for Delaware State University’s graduation after details of the lawsuit were made public.
Allen has denied the allegations, stating the relationship was consensual. Allen was also active again on Instagram Wednesday for the first time since news of the civil lawsuit broke, posting “This too shall pass,” as well as Bible verses.
