Ready or not, the holiday season is upon us, and the Philadelphia Eagles are already getting into the spirit.
On Wednesday, Jason Kelce announced that he and his teammates put together a Christmas album called “A Philly Special Christmas.” His Instagram post, which was shared to the Eagles team page, shows a clip of him, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson recording an upbeat rendition of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

“Cannot properly verbalize what a pleasure it was to create and sing on this album,” Kelce said in the post. “We are excited to share the joy, friendship, and holiday spirit that went into making it this season!”
“A Philly Special Christmas” will be available for pre-order on Oct. 29 and there is promise of vinyl copies. The official cover art for the project, as shown on PhillySpecialChristmas.com, pays homage to the Vince Guaraldi Trio’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” album with the three players designed as Peanuts characters, replacing Linus, Lucy and Charlie Brown.

All funds raised from the album sales “will go to making peoples holidays brighter.”
The Eagles are 6-0 and the NFL’s lone undefeated team. Philadelphia has a bye in Week 7, which gives Kelce and company a break to promote and prepare for the release of their Christmas album.
